Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about how service, scheduling, and billing actually work. If your question isn't here, ask us directly — we answer.

Getting started

How do estimates work?

Fill out the estimate form with your name, phone, ZIP code, and the service you need. Add property details if you have them. We review the property and send a written, itemized quote. No pressure, no obligation, and you don't need to be home for any of it.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. Quoting is part of doing business honestly — you shouldn't have to pay to find out what something costs.

What areas do you serve?

Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, York, and York County, SC — plus nearby communities by request. The service-areas page has a ZIP checker if you're on the edge of the map.

Scheduling & weather

What happens if it rains on my service day?

You hear from us before your scheduled time — not after you've noticed the lawn wasn't cut. Service moves to the next workable day and we tell you which day. Mowing saturated turf rut-damages it, so we won't.

Do I need to be home?

No. Most customers aren't. Locked gates get coordinated once and noted on your account; completion updates arrive by text or email.

What about holidays?

If a holiday lands on your service day, your visit shifts within the same week and we let you know in advance. The schedule never just silently skips.

We have dogs — anything to know?

Tell us in the estimate form. We're careful with gates (closing them is on our checklist every visit) and we'll coordinate backyard timing if your dogs are out during the day. A quick pickup of the yard before service day is always appreciated by the person on the trimmer.

Pricing & billing

How does plan pricing work?

Plans start at $115 (Basic), $175 (Premium), and $215 (Super) per month. Those are honest starting points, not teaser rates — your final price depends on property size, service frequency, the number and size of prunable bushes, and the amount of mulch or pine straw your beds need. You get one property-specific number in writing before service begins. Details on the plans page.

How do I pay?

We invoice on the schedule that fits you — monthly, quarterly, or per-service for one-time work — with easy online payment. Autopay is available once your account is set up.

Will my price change mid-season?

Not without a conversation first. If something on the property materially changes — new beds, new fence, a pool where lawn used to be — we adjust the quote together before the work changes.

The work itself

What's included in a standard maintenance visit?

Mowing at the correct height, line trimming around everything, blade edging along drives and walks, and blowing all hard surfaces clean. The full breakdown is on the residential page.

Can you fix my patchy lawn?

Usually, yes — most thin York County lawns respond well to core aeration and fall overseeding. We'll tell you honestly if your situation needs more than that.

Do you do tree work?

We handle shrubs and small ornamentals. Larger tree work gets referred to an insured tree service — climbing chainsaw work is its own trade and should be.

What if I'm not happy with a visit?

Tell us within a day or two and we'll come back and make it right. "Attention to Detail" is a high bar to put on the truck — holding us to it is fair.
